Quick Rail Building Question

Hey I am in the process of building my first backyard setup and I have a question about making rails.
For the frame should I just make an inverted "T", or should I put diagonal pieces of wood on the inverted "T"s?

I think what your saying is should you just screw in pvc to the Inverted T or should you put a 2x4 across the T. If thats what your asking yes, screw pvc into a 2x4, andthen screw the inverted T'sto the wood with pvc on it. Make sure the T's are long enough to not wobble, wobbley rails suck.. If your talking about welding i have no idea.

When in doubt, add a few more cross braces. Its nice to build a rail/box right the first time and never have to fix it again.
