T-Bar opening at Breck today - earliest ever

After the consistent snow we've been getting and the 20 inch pounding that hit last night Breckenridge is opening up T-bar!  I hiked up 2 days ago and it was already deep in spots, so this latest storm should give us a huge head start towards getting some serious terrain open in the near future.

This thread is for celebration, so let's hear what's going on around the country.  Who's been having a great early winter?

Yesterday was day 12 at Loveland.

I'm so jealous of all of you! It feels like spring in New Hampshire today... I'm pretty sure it's like 60 degrees out too. Send some of that snow to the east coast please :)

Damn. Looks like most of the central rockies are having a fucking great year. Shits doing really good in utah. We got like 10 inches yesterday. More snow on the way next weeeeeek.

Baker has been getting pounded by a massive storm the last couple hours. 8 inches in the last 5 hours with 2 feet expected in the next 2 days. Hope fully opening this weekend!!!

Apparently Big Sky has gotten 2-3 feet on its peak and more to come. Hopefully going to be skiing some pow on opening day. 8 days!

Stoked for this start, best since the first year imperial was opened. That was a sick year. They opened on Peak 9, then had imperial open the first month of December.

Yea i was skiing breck yesterday. Had knee deep pow all day and it was sooooooo refreshing. I haven't seen it snow that hard in years. Shit got hectic around 3 pm because it was a complete whiteout and ski patrol was scared that people were going to get lost on the mountain.

get up wherever you can. it's all good right now. today at berthoud I'd say about a foot to 14 inches new. and they said mostly sunny for the forecast... HA the pass opened up at 7:45, we were like the third car through. pretty uncrowded, so perfect.

Yeah. They are forecasting possibly 8 to 10 inches for LCC and BCC. 2 to 4 for pc.

we did one run around 90's. but it was just way sketch, it felt like it'd crack any minute haha. then one in floral, that was sick til you got down to the road. HHA is just the only place with enough coverage to pretty much go anywhere in it's area.
