Lost All Respect for Warren Miller

So, I wrote this to express my utter disbelief regarding Warren Miller's new movie, Wintervention, and to see if anyone else feels the same way.

I went to the movie on opening night, expecting to see an epic movie by Warren Miller, getting me more excited for the ski season (6 days). Wrong. It was one long fucking infomercial.


The whole movie was simply segments pitching different products. How great K2 is. How great these resorts in Colorado is, because they produce the best snowboarders (without ever showing any tricks by them). And to top it off, 90% of the film was overlaid with a monotone narrator who would not shut up if a gun was pointed to his head.

While all moviegoers were given a free Canyons day pass for going, it was not enough for killing my friday night.

I payed $20 to watch an infomercial, which is why I have lost all respect for Warren Miller.


Anyone else feel the same way?

Even though we all know "WME" filmes are pants compared to the real WM ones we all still go and watch them. so all the sponsors and resorts in it have jumped on the bandwagon because they know the audiences for this film are gonna be huge still, purely because there's an association with WM. also you get silly amounts off free stuff and prizes when you go, just makes you think it's one big advertising job these days!

Bring back the days when Warren actually wrote and produced the films, what a God!

85% OF THERE FILM WAS B-RATED CLIPS FROM LEGIT FILM COMPANIES ANYWAY...THE STOKE AND HOORAH CUTS WERE THE WORK OF POOR BOYZ ALL BOUGHT TO MAKE THERE FILM LOOK A LITTLE BETTER FOR THE GAPERS WHO GO TO THERE FILMS!

What??  I received more swag at PBP, MSP, LEVEL 1, and TGR Films than all WME films I've ever been too!  They just hand out crap for ski vacations.  Stay at our 5-star hotel and we'll even wipe your ass after you take a shit hotel!
