Proposal to film companies.

I'd like to take my time out of my day to suggest an idea I think is a very good one.
Since the 2010/2011 ski season is here for the northern hemisphere that is and most film companies are getting ready for a long season of filming and putting together amazing and awe-inspiring documentations of our sport. This year, I would like to see a film company put together a heart warming and inspiring dedication segments to our late friends CR Johnson and Arne Backstrom.
If you have seen MSP's dedication segment for the great Shane McConkey, I do recall not seeing one person without a smile on their face as they watched a great documentation of his epic shenanigans. I would like to see the same thing for CR and Arne this year from film companies so that future generations can look back on how much fun these men had doing what they love and what we all love to do.

This is a great idea. The little segment in The Way I See It was very nice, but Arne deserves much more. With all that CR has brought to our sport, I would love to see a real long segment or even a documentary on his life.

so far I am extremely dissapointed with the lack of tributes to CR. Although Like a Lion definitely talked about the impact of his death, but that is not quite the same.
Random but...Ducky, did I meet you at Sam and Annie's place in Squamish at Thanksgiving?

The tributes always tear me up. No joke.
I watched In deep with my friend on Friday night, I look over, and she was ready to cry.
Ingrids' tribute made me tear up at the premiere as well.
I actually haven't seen anything for CR. I don't know where they are.
We need a mid winter compilation release of footage from various companies. Just old footage. Put together to document the lives of those lost. Both in front and behind the lens.

I completely agree. When i read the NS update releasing the news when CR passed away, by the time i had finished reading it i was practically crying. & on The Way I See It during Ingred and Arne's segment as well, they just get to me, both in sadness and happieness for their amazing lives they lived. Id really enjoy a quality documentary of CR and Arne.

eye trip and revolver both had small tributes to cr but i would definitely like to see more.
sammy had a dedicated to cr segment that was insane and the usual "the feeling i get from skiing... thats a feeling i would die for" tribute to cr was at the beginning of revolver
eye trip had a couple shots of cr at the end because they had just picked him up to film the past season. wouldve been an amazing segment with level 1... they also have one of his old segments in the bonus.
im not saying this is anything in comparison to the mcconkey tributes but for those who didnt see anything, they are there.

I don't know when Level 1 started/finished editing and how close they were to CR, but the short tribute after the credits seems really out of place and highly artificial. Wasn't very happy with it.
