Cocky Redheads in Revolver (minus walker)

Start rant...

So i watched revolver a couple weeks ago.  There was something that really irritated me: Sammy Carlson and Dane Tudor had the worst attitudes ever.  Not only was Dane's segment too long, but it seemed that the whole time he was saying  and acting how sweet and awesome he was.  Also, Sammy seemed like the cockiest person ever.  He acted so full of himself that it made me sick.  I previously respected Sammy, but after seeing him act like he was the bees knees and better than everybody else made me lose respect.  Those guys are living the dream and are amazing athletes.  Don't you think they should have some humbleness and humility?

So NS what do you think?  Did you feel the same way?

YA, i'm going to have to disagree here on the title of this thread, as well as the entire point.

Just because you don't see eye to eye with the way these guys are coming off in a movie, does not mean publicizing it is the right thing to do. Sammy is always on a higher level than anybody in the game, not only his skiing, but his attitude. If you had stomped the hell out of the FIRST sw. triple, you would be a little beside yourself as well. And as for Dane, he is just flawless in style. and he carries his attitude with it.
So, How about we quit worrying what the "pros" are doing, and acting like, and keep focused on the things they do on the snow.

Yes, I am a red head and proud of it, but thats why I questioned his title.
He ranted about losing his idol (Sammy) more than he did about the "cocky redheads"

I dont know much about Dane other than he is a sick skier, but I think you have Sammy all wrong. Have you ever see him in an interview or see his movie that he made 2 years ago?

I could do without the gangsta dress but I have mad respect for Carlson. Coming into the game at 15 years old and just pushing non stop until he gets/got to the top. all the while still making it look like fun.

I met sammy while at momentum a few years ago. It was the same year my friend's a pro came out. One of the kids from camp kept saying shit like YEAHHHHHH it's my life it's what i do YEAHHHHH, Sammy came over and was like yo dog I don't back that shit. I love Colby but that wasn't something i liked, he was obviously pretty pissed when this happened. However instead of being an asshole about he just told everyone who was sitting there to keep shredding hard up on the glacier and talked to us for a few minutes. He does seem to have a cocky attitude when you watch him but really it's just him being stoked for everything and everyone around him.

They are amazing. Are they suppose to lie about it for you? How could you be that good and not know it or show it? Its when the 'cockiness' is out of proportion to the person that it is wrong. Quit being jealous and try being inspired instead.

honestly i think walker and sammy just dont know how to act in front of a camera yet so they put on a little act that's sort of awkward. ive never heard tudor talk cause i was too busy skipping through his mini movie (sorry, ive just seen too many movies to be watching shit that long. amazing skier though)

most of all, who cares. not like you have to hang out with them

And he really dosent dress super "gangsta" or whatez, i never really see him rocking massive tall tees/hoodies or anything. Kinda normal actually

no hate brotha, but you go to any ski camp in the world, and thats all you get. I've seen kids cry at Whistler because so and so dont high 5 them in the lift line, and cut everyone.

I have met him and I would like to completely disagree with that. Met him twice, once at Whis last season and said a few words. He was upbeat and kept the conversation going himself for a good amount of time while he was on skis. Met him a second time at the Revolver premier and talked to him for a bit as well. Same deal, while he was busy with a couple dozen people wanting to get his sig, he took a good amount of time to talk to me. Dane is defiantly not an asshole.
