if you are a really strong skier (like racing background strong), and will be skiing mostly open terrain and not tight trees, then go with the 185. they can ski both very short and long, depending on how you ski them. but if you have any doubt in your skill to ski a ski that big, go with 175.

It's hard to tell without know how and where you ski. Shorter skis are better in trees. Longer is better for straight lining and stability at high speeds. I rode a 194cm Faction 13 prototype last year and loved them... except on steep, narrow sections where I was shitting myself.
yea buy some s7's i heard they ski better than the ski patentend by armada whom stole from dps who rebuilt the spatula, who took sidecut technology from elan, who took twin tip idea from olin, who took metal ski technology from head, who took ideas from early wooden skis.
