I like these type of threads over on TGR. You can post up your stoke photos, stories, videos, ect....

I'll get it started with a little video of my first tracks this season. Testing out this new GoPro HD I got. I know its kinda lame to make a 3 minute video about skiing 4 inches of snow, but I had fun! And don't worry, there's PLENTY more to come this season!

I'll be in tahoe this weekend, sugar bowl is getting 11-17in friday and 7-11in sunday. I hope bogus is open in full swing when Im home from break.

im crossing my fingers that the weekend after i get back, two weeks after this saturday, im skiing at brundage. It looks like it could easily happen with the forecast/base they have

I was. I blew a piston in cylinder 2 and the ring in cylinder 4 meaning my car is toast. Now I'm going to have to have someone tear it down, replace pistons, rings, rods, and probably some valve work. In other words I'm out like 4 grand and car less for a bit. It can be driven the way it is but its bad for it.

Dear Newschoolers,
Today I went up in the mountains near Bogus, my little Camry handled the roads like a champ. I was so proud. I picked a random spot and started hiking up with my skis and trusty shovel. I built a cute little jump. I did not bust super technical tricks, but I did fun shifty 180's, and the odd 360. I was sooooo happy.

This is where Bogus' website takes you, then if you look at it closely, it is a little ways from the base. I got 10-16 in when i put the red box on top of Shafer Butte, which is the highest point in the area.. soo.. idk. ha
