Just got my 2011 k2 hellbent... what binding should i get?

i just got my 2011 k2 hellbent...

can't figure out which binding fits the best...

do you guys have any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Questions like this one should normally be posted in Gear Talk (or GT, as some people call it), because it concerns gear (d'uh...)

Anyway, it depends on what kind of skiing you like I guess, if you plan on hitting BC booters and riding switch a lot you might want a different binding than when you plan on mounting them at -5 or so.
Ofcourse it's important you get a really wide brake, so you'd have to get a binding that supports wide brakes.
Also, maybe you could specify your height and weight, so we know at what DIN you (should) ride.

Jesters or STH 16's with 130mm brakes will do just fine. I'm partial to STH 16's myself.

and yeah, depending on your height, weight, ability, Boot sole length etc. Both Jesters and STH 16s may not be right for you. But they have lower DIN options of both of those bindings So you should be set.

Mount them at -5 I would say. Thats a prime spot. Too much further you might loose some float. Also, go Jester, super solid, and have a wide ass break, and they hare all around amazing.

Srsly, if you can't help a bro out, regardless of what you assume to know about him, GTFO. The guy needs help (which you pointed out already), but if you can't give any helpful advise, then SHUTUP! +1 for the STH, put 16s on my bents and they perform great, better than the jesters I had on the last pair. Also, I wouldn't put fks or pivots on them..

Namely because of their narrower mounting pattern. The STH's footprint is better suited to wider skis, it offers more control/responsiveness/leverage.
