Recently, my photos haven't been saving completely on my SD card. I'll take the picture, it'll play back with the play button, but when I go to load it onto the computer, it says there is something wrong with the file. Even then, it says "Can not playback image" on the camera when I put the SD card back in. I've tried reformatting the card, but I'm still running into the problem.
Has anyone else seen this? I don't have another card to test, so I don't know if it's a problem with the card or with the camera. Thanks.
It's a 16gb Promaster Class 6 card. Now it says "Card cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change the card or format card with camera.". I'm guessing my card's just worn out, but I didn't think that really happened.
this is what i was leading to. if other cards work in your camera, your card just died, time to grab a new one. if other cards dont work either, time to get on the horn with canon, theres a problem with how the camera is writing to the card.
there's a certain point where it neither looks good nor functions properly...that's when you know you look steezy - no_steeze
Based on that picture, Id almost lean towards it being the camera/card set up. I dont think either of them are bad, but put the two together and you will get that.
The only reason I am suggesting that is because I used to get those exact same pictures on my old camera with 2 certain cards. But I use those cards on my current camera and never have a problem. I also never had a problem when I used different cards on my old camera.
