Anyone have the predictions for this winter in Michigan/Midwest???? I hear its supposed to be one of the worst winters in the past 30+ years??? I like weather but dont have to time to read thru weather reports...so If anyone has any idea of how good its supposed to be I'd love to hear it..
Wiley Miller: "Well skiing is kinda like partying, you swerve to and fro, hit shit, and sometimes you fall. You can be hurting the next day and say iíll never do that again, yet a few days later your back at the same stupid antics you were doing."
By the worst he means the best for us. Above average snowfall and colder temperatures. Also if your lucky enough to be in U.P. then look forward to a epic early season due to the fact that Lake Superior hit its record high temp, which means lots of lake effect snow. First snow in Marquette Michigan!!! And as far as a snowy year... It was a very warm summer which has kept the Great Lakes much warmer and for longer than average. The heated lakes combined with cold La Nina air make for tons of lake effect picking up off the lakes and pummeling the entire midwest :)
yep. snowed all morning in Ironwood and a bit in MQT. but the suns out so im going to toss some flies
-Drop knees, not bombs
"Cigarette on the in run, no shirt on the takeoff, land switch into pow? Only Charley Ager, baby"
-"Just a quadruple stage , to an 800 foot cliff with a tree on fire at the bottom. No problem, Ill just rip it outta the ground and eat it"
"I would totally lose my virginity to a fat chick for a free season pass"-RayL
"Fuck yeah, you don't see Shawn White getting blackout drunk down here do you?" TOM WALLISCH
I was looking on NOAA the other day, and they say it's suppose to be above average for snow and temperature starting around the middle of December heading into Feb. But hopefully it'll stay cold enough through March. Where you intending to ski at bro?
