Im all about park, but when my dad and I go to UT this year, we're gonna be all about the terrain/pow. So what are the best 3 mountains (relatively close to eachother, only gonna be there a week or two and staying at hotel) for terrain and powder?? Thx

1. Alta Bird
2. Park City
3. Snowbasin
4. The Valley Of the Deer (and rich young white women)

canyons if you want a better park and a big mountain. brighton if you want better terrain and more a border type park. really depends on the snow. if its a big storm go to one of the cottonwood canyons resorts, if there isnt any pow just go shred park at pc or canyons.

Im thinking of telling my dad to go with Alta/Snowbird/Brighton if pow days or Alta/Snowbird/PC if not so much pow

how good a skier is your dad?
cause in all honesty, if hes not into shredding the gnar (and i mean serious gnar) he will have more fun at Brighton than Snowbird.

Well I am going with him, and hes up for pretty much anything (we live in NY so we dont see many cliffs...actually we dont see any)

Exactly, your first tram ride at Snowbird might make you and your dad piss your pants. Just saying. Snowbird has some pretty gnarly lines if you're coming from NY.

You would buy a ticket to each mountain everyday.
