People tend to think because a price is low, it means low quality. I grew up scrounging money together to buy any skis and I know how hard it is to fork cash over if you just destroy a pair every year. We first made Pep's old Fujative as an affordable durable ski way back in the day and we now have the Silencer and Press in that category. That is Aleksander Aurdal's park ski of choice and if you've had the chance to watch any recent Field Productions films, that dude doesn't mess around on small features. Enjoy those things!
I don't know anything about this year's model but I got the 2008s last year for $200. It was the best $200 i have ever spent. They are so much fun to goof around on. I only wish i put better bindings on them because the ones i got keep breaking. A lot of people say the silencer is a bad ski,but i am yet to discover why people think this. It is the lightest pairs of skis i have (lighter than my ar6 and afterbangs). I would recommend finding last years model online. I know you can get the 2009 model for $219 at
