The first pic could be much better without the handrail in the bottom, which doesn't add anything, mostly just distracts from the scene. The same could be said for the lights, which add another non-natural element which is distracting.
Second one is more interesting, I like the colors. I spent some time looking at it because the symmetry of the light in the sky and the light in the reflection of the lake is interesting with the branches throwing it off.
Third one is a nice abstraction, but the composition is a little awkward.
Thanks! Yea, I wish I took the time to step over the guardrail and recompose shot #1. And @despite, the first thing I did once I saw the first shot was pick up my blower and cleaned my sensor (which had a few specs of dust).
Thats not hating at all. I also noticed it, and when something like that happens it makes the photographer look lazy. Looks like they didnt move but a few feet. Ive seen it happen in newspapers before and I just kind of chuckle..
