Fuck all Movie Critics

I have had this rage building up for the past five years or so but the release of Clones has caused me to boil over. Fuck all of them and their queer artsy asses. those fuckers distort movies like star wars. ones you go to to cause their escapist movies and for other reasons other than some cheesedicks oscar worthy performance in some gay arthouse flick. its their fault that Attack of the Clones probably wont make as much money as Lucas wanted it to. they made everybody think that Star Wars and cult films, like most of Kevin Smiths movies, are about super dramatic acting. these guys' scope has been so distorted that they didn't realize the true passion in the acting in Clones. just to clarify, i like all kinds of films even indies (i will admit to watching IFC on a semireg. basis.) this attack is rather aimed at the critics. also, im sorry if my derrogutorry language offended you too, but youll just have deal with my insecure, teenage, self.

I agree, and also, I hate it when critics review movies, and then give the whole movie away in the review!! It's so annoying! I don't usually pay any attention to what the critics have to say...


Me: 'How come every time we talk, the subject of my mum using drugs comes up?'
James: 'It doesn't.'
Me: 'It does though.'
James: 'Yeah, it really does.'
(Ten minutes later.)
James: 'Ha! Your mum on drugs!!!'

yeah the review I just read said that the Anakin guy 'couldn't act his way out of a box' or something to that effect . . . I know a lot of other people weren't impressed, but I think he did a great job, it's a hard role

Yeah I learned that a long time ago, I dont even bother reading what they say. If a movie looks good I see it and if it looks bad I don't.

Movie critics simply want to appear knowageable and high class. They pick apart movies to cover their faults. Thinks about, they're bad ''journalists'' who can't get out a shitty career so instead they unresponsibly critize the work of some of the most pro-active and productive people. In a short rant, they try to elavate themselves above people they secretly envy.

Wow, I sound like a critic.

But, of critics, so its OK.

And don't hate people for not liking escapist movies, they're crap, but people still like them.

I don't know why anyone pays any attention to them. Movie critics are simply people giving their opinions on something. Of course some people dislike a movie you like or like a movie you hate. No movie will ever please everyone. Besides you don't know the critic personally or his/her likes and dislikes or even their age. Would you accept the review your high school history teaher gave of a Swollen Members cd? I don't think so.

yknow who else has bad reviews? STANCE magazine. they gave Bad Dreams two stars outta five. bullshit, they said the rhymes were too 'nerdy' and that madchilds and prevails voices 'get annoying.' bullshit man
