this recently won the Vimeo Film Festival in two categories: Best Documentary and Best Overall Film. It is a beautiful story that I am sure nearly everybody can relate to...enjoy. (hope this isn't a repost, if so, sorry)
Last Minutes with ODEN from phos pictures on Vimeo.
We recently put down my dog. He developed a tumor in his nose that caused it to fill up with first mucus and then blood to the point where he couldn't breathe.
This past weekend we took his ashes down to his favorite lake and spread them there. I swear to god I've never seen my dad cry before that morning. It was easily the "saddest" moment of my life...which contributed to my utter breakdown upon seeing this video.
OP: "If you suddenly skied off a huge fuckin cliff and you only had time to throw one last trick before you died, what would it be?"
Malcolm: "id probably just flail my self to death"
"If the overall quality of your film depends on what you shot it on, you aren't ready to make a film." - Barry Green
thats like my 4th time trying too watch that, i can never make it past 1 minute without feeling sad for the oddest reason, i have two dogs and i guess i just never wanna see them go and i just cant make it through this video
This piece is so amazing. I remember seeing it a couple of months ago and being blown away. I recommend that everyone watch ever single video he has on that Vimeo account. If you enjoyed this one you will love all the rest of them. Truly amazing.
