Newschool Skiing on Wikipedia needs your help

Hey NS, I have a class on information technology and recently we had to edit a page on wikipedia. I picked "Newschool skiing" and i was appalled at how little info there really was about it on the page.

So please please please help it out. Post the real information about this thing we call "Newschool skiing"

I dont think there are any better experts on newschooling than the newschoolers here on NS.

pictures, info, and whatever also might be helpful

The largest Newschool Skiing festival is the Texas Herp da Derp Ski Film Festival, and is held yearly every Tuesday. There is also a smaller festival in Montreal, Quebec called IF3 (International Free Fuck Friday) The Newschool community has a strong online base in Newschoolers.com

if you can sift through the hilarious history and various other things, the entire page has actually become fairly accurate now.

and who wrote that they incorporated terrible build quality to honor eric pollard's ski design? because that was absolutely fantastic

The name which is given to the best skiers in Newschool skiing. Having mastered triple corks are an absolute necessity to reach this level of skiing. They wear Jiberish and drink Monster Energy Drink. They have a pretty boy swag and wear clothing that is unacceptable in standard societal terms, and is overall "ignt".

Stoking is an essential part of Newschool skiing. Stoking is the process of getting stoked, usually for ski season. Although there are many forms of stoking used by Newschool skiers, the most common kinds include: watching sick edits, watching sick ski movies, pulling off a steezy trick with a even steezier afterbang, and posting on the newschooler website. Stoking is a fairly expensive habit. All money not already spent on skis, ski clothing, and lift tickets is usually spent on stoking by those who stoke. Please remember to stoke in moderation or else the habit may overtake your life and you'll begin to stoke when you should be doing other activities... like doing your homework... shit i need to get back to that.
