so i go to an all guy prep school. all the black kids we have are still really hood though because where i live is right next to an inner city.

being as im really good friends with all of them because i have "swagga"... i get to hear a bunch of their slogans almost daily...

heres some examples

they are always saything that they are grown, or grown ass man

they always tell all the white people that they like them even though he a man and dey a man so they gey

I went to high school in CT, and they shipped them in from New Haven (if you are familiar with CT, parts of New Haven are as ghetto as Hartford and Albany). So we have probably 40 in teh whole school. None of them were too gangst, a few of the chicks were LOL. The best were the fights between the black chicks and the local mexitrash/ trailortrash white girls. Shit could get gnarly. I don't really remember any outstanding ghetto talk, but the latinos would always talk shit to each other in Spanish which was funny. Everyone was pretty chill though, regardless of race, besides the stoner fuckups.

you are all dumb as fuck. so everyone on here is a 13 year old white kid?...lets create a thread titled "things black ppl say". maybe if you got out of your neighborhood and saw the world you wouldn't say things that make you appear so obtuse. i've been thinking for the past week about how racism goes both ways (meaning that blacks are equally offensive and racists towards whites as it is the other way around). i guess this is why racism goes round and round. by the way i'm not talking out of my ass, i'm living in a 3rd world country as we speak. i hear a lot of " is it because im black? " and " walahi man " but thats more Arabs that blacks.. even though theyre learing it thats for sure.. my school football team happens to be about 2/3rds black, which is a bummer because it doesnt give me much playing time, and theres never ever a quite moment, theyre always talking..

its just for jks man, no need to get all serious.
my group of friends includes many white ppl and many black ppl, and we fuck around with the black guys and call them nigga and bring up all those black stereotypes and they do the same thing to us and "make fun" of us cus we're white but its all in good fun and no one loses any sleep over it. we still smoke blunts together and get drunk as fuck and we're all bros. either you choose to be serious about everything and live a boring life or you can joke around with your friends and have a good fuckin time. i dont give a fuck about what you do with your life, if you wanna take everything seriously, go ahead brother, but dont diss me cus i like to have fun and fuck around with my friends

If it was titled "Popular phrases or saying in your local African-American community" would you feel differently about this. Dude ethno-colloquial diction is a natural occurrence is every community , everywhere, ever. Its called slang, It starts in one group of people and moves to another and another. I understand why you feel that way, especially because you're in an undeveloped country where you're likely is the eye of the storm as far as the affects as racism go, but this thread isnt any sort of attack on black people. But id think being there should be teaching you there are much bigger racial problems then a thread about black slang on NS. Pick your battles souldier

i hear what you're saying, but if you were in a community/country where you were the minority (being white) and everyday you had to deal with intense racism and prejudices against you that made your life suck, you would look at the situation differently. i'll admit i was kinda pissed off yesterday. just tired of ppl where i am, in grenada, always using phrases like "white boy" in the same tone and manner that someone in the states would use the n-bomb. yet there is a double standard, we are terrified of using the n-bomb in a derogatory manner yet here white boy and whitey is used in the same context without any second thought or fear of social reprimand
