ok so about a month ago i paid 280$ to bp for his nikon d80 and the 18-135 lens that it was coming with. i am still yet to get this and hes told me he has shipped it twice but still nothing. he also basically stopped answering my pm's. if anyone knows him personally please help me out and get him to send me my camera. i sold mine to get this and i cant go any longer without one


can someone tell me how to post the pm's in the thread?

dude you are fucking retarded. I work at an internet retailer and we ship thousands of packages a day. I also file probably around 5 -10 "shipper lost package" cases as well. They lose shit all the time.

Cool man. Missing the point. Shipping carriers are still required to have an internal tracking system. It was one of the first legislative bills passed after 9/11 and the Anthrax mail deliveries. Shipping carriers are required to have destination and origination information on every package.

Packages might get sent to the wrong place, or might get delayed - but they don't vanish into the abyss of UPSdom.

its pretty fcuked that an orange name who has a known business and is known by tons of newschoolers would rip someone off.
It just seems like hes slow to respond but since you need it asap he really needs to get his act together and come through. get his phone number [if i havent missed that part of the thread]

He ripped me off awhile back too. Not like it was that much skrilla, but just the fact that he did it pisses me off. Anyways good luck! I hope you get your money back.. and i have been through the thing with paypal too.. not as easy as people say it is to dispute it. Ugh so frustrating !

I find the easiest thing to do is to call Paypal directly if you are having issues with a transaction. Write down all the information, names, dates, etc.. and just be able to explain your side of the story in as much detail as possible. I have always found that they are willing to work with you more this way.

So after reading through this whole thread here's what I have come up with:

1. It sucks that you haven't gotten your camera yet, but you screwed over some other guys, and karma is a bitch.

2. You should have learned about feedback and how to properly do business on here after your last failed transactions, so therefore I am even less sympathetic towards you.

3. It was your responsibility to file a claim with paypal, not his, I know you said you were having problems with it, but seriously its probably nothing you couldn't figure out with a bit of effort on your part.

4. Fucking CALL him. You have his number now, (which you should have gotten from him before ever doing business) If you keep bombarding him with texts, pm's, and fb messages, it is just going to annoy him. You really think he's going to want to try and help you out if he thinks you're an annoying little bitch? NO.




I am not trying to defend BP here, because if you paid for the camera, it is his responsibility to ship out in a timely manner as the seller. But after all of this, it's fairly obvious that he isn't going to find the motivation to do it. So now it is up to you to take action.


Good luck getting your camera man, I know how much it would suck to lose any of mine. And this is not meant to be derogative, but I think both of you went about the whole transaction wrong, and are both partially responsible
