Center mount?

for ep pros would you center mount your bindings or just a bit back from center for pow pow?

You'll have a much better floatation if you mount them back a little. I live on the east coast and I don't know much about pow, but it makes more sense to mount them back. I don't think having a a big tail would be beneficial in powder, it would be hard to manoeuvre. Mount them at the recommended spot.

depends on your height, weight and skier ability.

if you're a bigger guy, you should have no problem handling them in powder centermounted.

i would have them mounted about 1cm back from center its a good comp of both traditional and true center and works great forward and switch in powder

um....it really is the other way around most of the time

shorter/lighter= center mount will make the ski ride shorter and be easier to to control
taller/strong: center mount will make the ski ride to short

alright thomas so you would suggest someone at 6'2+ to mount their ep's anywhere but center?

correct, i had mine -2.5 back and they still skied very short

1cm back has always been about right for me. It basically feels like center mount though.

i have had 3 pairs all mounted at center, i wouldnt have them any other way, but they are also my park skis too.

I'd say mount them on the line, the one specified position on the topsheet.

I got mine at absolute true 100% center which is about 1.5cm in front of the mark, I think.
Ended up going over the handlebars a few times dropping into pow, the tip is so soft already. They were super fun though.

Go half way between true centre and recommended, which normally ends up being 2.5cm or 3 back. On asymmetrical skis they recommend this anyway and it gives you nice float in pow.
