Tye dye

i have a black shirt and i want to tye dye it with bleach, i know how to tye dye, but not nesicarly with bleach.

Depends on what pattern you want. You can spiral, bullseye, crumple... you want to create folds in the fabric so some parts take dye and some don't. With bleach you just need to be careful not to leave it on too long or it will burn holes. If you want to dye it make sure to use a cold water dye (not RIT) with a fixer. Here's one I did a little bit ago:

so wait, you just twist it up dunk it in cold water and put bleach on it? how long should the bleach stay on?

Yeah, Probably want to use like a 50/50 bleach water combo so you dont burn the fabric, you can also spray it on with a spray bottle. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes then dunk it in a 50/50 vinegar water combo to neutralize the bleach.

black shirt...just use straight bleach. lie the wet shirt flat on a table and pinch the whole shirt right in the middle. twist into a cinnamon bun. elastic around it so you've cut it in half. bleach the living fuck out of one side for however long you want..its a tshirt, youre not worrying about durability. unroll, rinse out..done.

anyways. i think it's best to wet the shirt first just to make sure it doesn't burn your fabric, but it's possible, and looks sick. i love the two shirts posted.
