I just watched Nimbus for the first time..

I watched Contrast, Idea, and Hunting Yeti. I must say i absolutely loved the vibe the videos had, just a group of buddies skiing together. I also liked how subtle the music was in most of the parts, and it was just focused on skiing. By far some of my favorite movies.

Idea changed my life, hunting yeti was good webisodes were better, Contrast was pretty amazing, havent watched all of nomads but the music wasnt my favorite

Idea changed my life more than I could ever imagine... it was through Idea that I discovered there was more to skiing than going fast and jumping off moguls, and it was through Idea that I discovered everything I stand for in skiing today.

Idea is still my most watched ski movie, and my DVD has been watched hundreds of times. Over the course of the years I've had the film (since December of the year it was released) I have watched it to the point that hearing any song off its soundtrack triggers a mental replay of the movie...

For me, Idea was the catalyst to a change from a life that had skiing as a favorite activity, to a life that revolves solely around skiing-- every decision I have made since the first time I watched Idea (during Christmas break that year we had many, many powder days for me to draw inspiration for) has been made based on which choice will allow me ski more, for longer, over the course of my life.

And there are tons of other people for who the story is the same-- I can name at least two.

hell yes some of my favorite pow segments are in nimbus, something about watching those guys shred just gets me so stoked on skiing in general

I missed the Idea year but if you replaced Idea with Hunting Yeti in your post, I could tell the same story. I was already sold on skiing for life but nimbus gave me direction.

hey i just want to say i think the nimbus movement is incredible... the way they film construct films and the way they look at skiing as a sport is sick... i know try and ski like the nimbus crew..

couldnt of said it better bro,,,i picked it up for $6 off getboards, a lil late, but still  my favorite movie. I listen to the soundtrack everyday on the way to school, puts my mind where i want it to be

Hunting yeti episode 2... amazing stuff, the part with the new roman times song is so good. Also every other thing nimbus does is awesome. They seem to have so much fun.

I've watched nomads quite a few times, especially the part with almost cut my hair. Such a good song, they always pick great music.

Nimbus just has that great vibe to it.  It's not movie footage, it's personal ski trip footage of friends having fun.
