seriously, who would want a dumb smelly dog shitting everywhere, chewing all your stuff up, and barking all day and night? cats just chill, dont annoy the shit out of you, and poop in a neat sandy box that makes cleanup a breeze

you must be gay to think that cats are better than dogs.   Any real man agrees that a dog can be your best friend.  ESPECIALLY after you've been married to the same girl for too long..   cats  poop and pee inside.   I let my dog out,  he runs around in the field  poops and pees if he wants to (in the woods)  and then comes back when he wants.

dogs are soo much better than cats. cats just sit around and do nothing other than smell and shed. dogs are wayy more lively and playful. they are so much cooler.

You think dogs smell but are in favor of a litter box? Trust me, I like cats and dogs, but I have a dog. Dogs don't smell like shit if they are cleaned every once in a while, where as you "neat little litter box" makes your house smell like shit for the 15 years that cat is alive.

Cat's are gay as fuck. They only come back home because you feed them, and don't give a shit about their owners. Try taking your cat for a walk thru the bush. Not gonna happen. My dog will follow me anywhere and if I ever run into a bear or something I know my dog would attack it to save me. Also, dogs can actually do stuff, their piss doesn't smell worse than their shit, and don't need anything to be happy.

funny that i should come across this thread as my kitty treads across my laptop....

i don't believe there is such a thing as a domesticated cat. I think cats more or less figured out they can make life easier by moving in with humans.

i like cats because i can push her around, play with her, throw her across a room onto a bed, and she doesn't care. She can get out her feelings and bite me all she wants and it wont hurt.

I think it takes a certain type of person to own a cat.

Both are equally as awesome. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats and they all have unique characteristics that make them special. I honestly couldn't pick between any of them as they all brighten my day and all act as my best friends.
