I mean the "colors" in that edit were pretty basic. Normal whitebalance and normal saturation/contrast. Honestly with your HV40 just make sure you have a good white balance and a good exposure. Then in post you can mess around with color grading (changing the contrast, gamma, color temperature, ect) instead of fucking around with the minimal settings you have on camera.

always make sure to set your camera up for the best possible product. this means correctly adjusting your white balance, exposure, aperture, shutter speed etc. learn how each of these work and how to adjust them for the best possible image. the better your settings are when shooting, the easier time you're going to have color-correcting and adjusting in post.
