I'm super excited. But if the Pac10 becomes a super conference we are screwed. we will only pay like 2 out of conference games a year. and we would be in the best division. so if that happens we could look at like a couple of 1 win seasons. If not than its gonna be insaaaane
the PAC 10 is about to become a football super conference. word on the street is that all of the Texas schools may potentially become part of the PAC 10. If so, theres gonna be some serious intra-league competition.
agreed. as long as bsu-utah-byu-tcu all stay in the top 25 the mountain west has good potential to evolve into a power conference. i hear the mountain west might pick up kansas-kansas state too which is awesome for the basketball programs.
i agree. from a strictly football perspective, you're absolutely right. but they take a lot into account, such as school environment, academics, and most importantly, television markets. while taking a byu/utah combo would make sense, financially and athletically, a school like byu wouldn't fit at all with schools like uc berkely and arizona state, at least to the people that run the conference. schools like colorado and texas have the same feel as the other pac 10 schools.
with that said, i'm pretty excited/anxious to see what comes out of this chaos. the big 12 is basically fucked. hopefully the mountain west can snag some solid schools out of there, although the conference chair said they aren't looking to expand any more. picking up kansas or something like that would be baller, especially for the basketball programs.

its getting crazy. I just hope rumors of the big ten going for more than 12 teams arent true. That conference hasnt been great for a few years but it would suck to fill it up with a bunch of shitty teams like rutgers and Syracuse to get up to 16.
I hope the SEC stays at 12 too. If they go up to 16, my conference, the acc, is fucked.
