you should stick to those rollerblade grinds. but even then it's still not fun to watch.


also choose your shots better, all those eric kid's shots would've been sicker if i didn't have to see like 3 set up tricks like in those switch tails over shots on the down rail.

but still. nothing all that special, Melvs' comment still stands.

anyone who hates on a hardway sw lip 4 is a retard. 4 on pretz 2 out is no joke either. Its pretty obvious that erik ringsmuth has some DAMN tricks and should be respected for it.

he's ok. here's the brutal truth.... kids like him are a dime a dozen. decent on rails and far below par on jumps. kinda the reason why park skiing is becoming so legit. to be considered really good, you have to be fucking insane and to be making a living off it... well you know. he's nothing special. just another ripper

Incorrect. It is tricks like that which give me hope for the future of skiing. Without increasing technicality and innovation, all we have to look forward to is more switchups per rail and more inversions per spin, neither of which I'm interested in seeing.

Everyone has their own perception of where they want the future of skiing to go so you can't just call another persons statement incorrect simply because you don't agree with it. I think presses and incorporating those into swaps and stuff is the way skiing should go, but that doesn't mean I'm going to call your opinion stupid just because I don't agree with you.

no. just no. skiing has got to stay away from roller blading as much as possible. calling tip dips or what andy p. does "roller blading" tricks is fucking stupid. it's nothing like roller blading and that child running around calling it roller blading grinds is an idiot and should stop giving skiing a bad name.

Yeah I really don't get it why people call any tricks rollerblading. The only thing that are kinda close to rollerblading would be 50-50s, and I think those are awesome. I think it's great what is happening to jibbing now. There are so many different styles, tip dips, hippy killers, 50-50, presses, butters, switch ups, pretzels, shovits, taps etc etc. This is where jibbing is heading and it's fuckin great.

okay here is where I have to disagree. I watch the best videos in the video section on NS every day. I know what stands out and what blends in. When I saw Erik Ringsmuth fucking destroying that down rail at Hood in the edit it blew me away. The 450s on and the switch 4s on are not your average "dime a dozen" skiing, it was fucking insane.

allen some of that was pretty sick, one foot stuff was real impressive... as far as erik goes, I wasn't amazed by the first edit as much but this one is dope... although he does try to bang way too hard.

really? because the reason that rollerblading is no longer in the x games is because no one wanted to see triple flips on small jumps anymore. Huh, that sounds like something happening in skiing right now. In the X games big air two years ago, all of the kids who came up to me because i ski talked about simon dumonts double front because it was cool and was something that was appealing, no one besides actual skiers mentioned PK's double cork.
