I am actually LMAO at this thread. I didn't know anyone under 30 actually liked DMB, they are like a complete joke in the music industry.

Dave Matthews sucks, so does Phish. You want some good acousti-rock check out Mischief Brew.

I like almost all genres of music I must have awful musical taste.

I don't even listen to much Death Metal, but you listen to the entire album of "Colors" by Between the Buried and Me and tell me it didn't blow your mind.

I basically only like BTBAM and Black Dahlia Murder and The Beatles.

If you don't like him thats fine, but if you have ever seen him live, regardless of whether or not you like him, you cannot deny that he and the band are very talented. I wasn't very into dave until I saw him live.

Anyways, I will also be at alpine for the 3rd and 4th of july, I saw 2 people on the last page who said they are going. See you folks there.

I have seen him live a couple of times and I even have a live DVD of him that someone i didn't really know got me for christmas. I've never watched it though because dave matthews band sucks.

i dont understand why people are hating on dave and then posting these shitty videos of music that is nothing like dave

if you dont like the style than that's fine, i dont like mainstream hiphop or classical, it's normal to have your own preferences.. but for the style of music that dave plays, dave matthew's band is just about as good as it gets

Yeah but Pennywise and Mischief Brew are not only better than Dave Matthews, they would also probably beat him up.

Pennywise shows kind of suck though they are full of assholes usually, like more so than most punk band's shows. Same with The Vandals for some reason. And Mischief Brew only plays shows in places like Vermont and Connecticut.

stephon lessard is the man, and carter is too damn good.  but otherwhys?  i agree, dave isnt any good on live recordings, only when you see him live.  he's spaced out and kinda off the rocker, but he does do a good live show.  their new horns are damn good as well.

Wow, your posts keep getting worse. Phish puts on a killer show, even if you don't like the music it's truly an experience. One of the best light shows you'll ever get to see.

I work at the Comcast Center in Hartford, and I'm working tonight and tomorrow. I'm going to see so many drunk kids I know.
and to everyone talking about how they don't like Dave, most kids who go to the concert don't go for the music, at least at the Hartford show

unliek other people in this thread who think dave sucks... i pity all of you. if you can give me 5 solid reasons why the music by dave matthews band sucks then i will give you props. i dont really understand all the hate on him because all the people i met who have "hated" dmb, i show them a good song by them (ones not on the radio) and they fall in love. no matter who you are everyone gotta love dave a little bit..

and agreed with all the prep kids. but those are all the kisd i chill with. and unlike all of them. i go to dave for the music and i sit on the lawn. not because im obliterated. but because i cant afford anything better

but i DO think DMB is absolutely, insanely, intensely, flamingly homosexual. like fucking radiates-gayness-with-the-force-and-heat-of-a-thousand-fucking-suns. theres some pretty gay shit in this world. like 200 hott, half naked, sweaty, salty, sailors,wearing bright-pink snakeskin sailor outfits, having an enourmous gay orgy in a hot-tub filled with pepto bismol, but dave matthews band is probably three or four times as gay as the image that gave you in your head. and at least twice as gay as the erection you got from that image.
