Icon sound help.

So this morning on the bus ride to school i was listening to my music and both speakers worked well. about 1 hour later in class i try to listen to some music and i notice that my right speaker isnt working, so i tryed it on the computer and it didnt work as well. so i played around with the plug and in some spots the right speaker was working. is there any way i can fix this because i dont want to buy new headphones and i really like my icons. they are the freeskier icons so i dont know if that is under warrenty as well. +k for help!

I bought some FMJs and they had the same problem right out of the box. I warrantied them but I don't know if they would give you limited edition ones back, but i bet you could just keep the caps and theyd replace the headphones without caps

Hey, i did have the same problem with my Skullcandy Icons. Except that my left speaker slowly started not working anymore. i think this is a commonly problem with skullcandys because it happend to both pairs i have/ had.

i used an ipod with them, i dont know whether the problem appeared because of that and the skullcandy-ipod connection but if you say they dont work with your computer aswell ( mine did not work with anything either) than try to get them warrantied.

Warranty them, they normally tellyou to hold onto your caps. My real suggestion, Ive done this many times, is to go to radio shack and purchase a new audio jack for headphones. Go back home and strip the wire at the jack, resauter the cord to your new jack and use either electrical tape or hear wrap if you have it. Voilà you have working headphones. The reason for it not working is because the audio jack gets a lot of stress from being tossed around in pockets etc and the wires over time will break.

yeah its unfortunate, their customer service is the farthest thing from legit, at least from my experiences with them.

Your first problem was buying skullcandy headphones. I got a few free pairs in the summer, 2 pairs of icons and pair of lowriders. Both the icons were blow out within a week of using them, the lowriders after 3 weeks. Westjet headphones last longer...

Wow I'm pretty surprised you guys have had so many troubles. I got a pair of Icons from IF3 and they lasted me the entire season and sound just like they did when I got them. Same with my 2 pair of FMJ's.
