Dark Side of the Moon is so incredible. 741 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200? That's amazing when you consider how most songs these days (on the radio) are unacceptable in the eyes of society after a month or two.

Not to mention that its sales have outsold Sgt. Pepper's by 13 million, putting it at no. 3 for all time album sales.

And, Floyd's top 2 albums have combined sales of 75 million, outdoing the beatles' top two albums by 13 million.

Plus Pink Floyd has David Gilmour. Bam.

magical mystery tour, strawberry fields, all you need is love, with a little help from my friends, i am the walrus, obladi-obladah, all that shit i just listed is 3000x better than their mediocre stuff they made before like love me do and she loves you and all that love horseshit they made before.

this is all subjective opinion of course but im more of a fan of creative, real, music from the inner depths of the soul, rather than shit they made to get themselves pussy/sell to girls.

Beatles hands down no comparison.
The spectrum of music they covered is ridiculous. Stones wail, and both bands are easily in my top five. But overall i give it to the Beatles. They practically defined a generation.

By the looks of it, you have only listened to the Beatles greatest hits albums. Here:





Those are pre-marijuana songs. I'm not going to guess about LSD though, since they all started using it at different times (Lennon first, McCartney last). But I'm guessing Rubber Soul might have been LSD influenced a bit, but not drastically. But I guess this could be argued as post-Sgt. Peppers and pre-Sgt. Peppers, by the looks of your song choices.

stones, hate the beatles

before you whip your thumb out of your ass and start hating, i am not saying i don't acknowledge the importance of the beatles and the incredible influence they've had on music and respect them greatly for it, i just do not like their music
