Skullcandy icons

I want to buy a new pair of icons but don't know which version to get.  I can get the original icon/recruit on ebay for like $15 or one of the new ones for $30. Is it really worth it to buy the icon 2 or icon soft?

I haven't had the icon 2 or soft, but my 2 pairs of original icons have been just great for me

get the originals! I got icon 2s and they are def not worth the extra 15 bucks.

Thanks bro.  one Q though. does the button that changes the song work for the ipod nano as well as the iphone

Yes, the button does work on all ipods and most other mp3 players that allow inline remotes (zune, ect.). However, it is slightly allowing, sometimes when you are skiing the button can get pressed and either stop the music or skip songs on you. Also, they are much harder to fit with a helmet, whereas the icon 1s can fit pretty easily. I usually ski with my icon 1s and use my icon 2s for other stuff - mostly cause the button got annoying and there is no way to turn it off or disable it.

I definitely recommend the iCon 1, it is much better under a helmet, and although it still kind of falls off of your hear, the iCon 2 is much worse and even more so with the iCon Soft. You save money and look like Tommy Wallnuts, what more can you ask for?
