Jon wants everything perfect?

if i understand the concept of joss, jon wants everything to be perfect
you can hear it nearly in every videoblog!!!

Than i just watched yesterday the joi and thought it is a really hard compression when you land!!!

Just read jacob westers blog and he says to that the landing is to flat!!!

yea, while watching the JOI yesterday I thought the landing looked a little flat as well. Seamed as though the deeper you went the better it got, but if you landed anywhere near the knuckle the landing didn't look too good.


Whatever though, there's no such thing as perfect, so why bother even having the world exist? that's my thought at least.

Jon has just hosted the greatest event in the freeskiing calendar, brought together the best athletes in the world, who will make the best edits of the season, hosted two separate comps on the side, posted a load of entertaining videoblogs, and built some of the most amazing features on the planet.

I'm not about to call him out over a flat landing.

I dont see him whining here, he's just stating the fact that the landing was kinda flat and I got the same impression watching the livestream.
And Jacob threw down some pretty gnarly tricks on the kicker before the contest and just needed to give his heel a rest.

jacob complains about everything. Jon actually talked about it in one of his blogs a few months back. He said he didn't have much fun last year with all of jacobs complaining or something like that.

i feel like it would be WAY too easy to overshoot if it were steeper. either that or it would need to be twice as long as it is now. seems like a good median between steep enough to land and safe enough to hit with varying speeds. youre pretty high up there for a drop.

a little bit funny how jon doesnt compete in x games because he doesnt like the jump. then builds a jump with seemingly worse trajectory. we will see in the joss edits how flat the landing was, maybe it isnt that bad. but the other features jon made looked super sick.

is a stuck up man who thinks he's too good for the rest of the freeski world and rarely brings new stuff to the table. He IS a good feeder and endorser for the sport though. He HAS to say everything needs to be perfect. even if it's obviously is not. its part of his job as organizer and sponser.
