Honestly that was fucking pathetic. With a course like that I'd expect some better tricks and not lame ass grabs and 360's. But apparently you don't have to be good at snowboarding if you dress like a fucking retard.

haha. These are a few of the best skiers in the world and they think they look retarded. Just like most of the kids in this forum are hatting on the gypsy steeze even though they are some of the best snowboarders around. everyone just needs to settle down alittle bit.

Please enlighten me what was so great about that edit. I have no problem with snowboarding, hell I probably like watching snowboarding than skiing. But seriously these fucking heshers are lame. If you made that snow into concrete any decent skateboarder could do most of the tricks they did. I think Nima is fucking an awesome rider but that demo/edit was a little sub par from what I know they can do.

Thank you i love the hesh style but an edit isnt cool just because they wear tight pants. Get over it NS tight pants arent original they may be a bit different right now but in a year or so everyone will be wearing them.

How is skiing lacking variety? IMO most snowboarders wear tighter pants while some still wear huge clothing. In skiing, most people wear large clothing(ns at least) and some wear tighter clothing. How are we lacking variety? I watched a million back lips in that edit. please explain yourself.

its funny. a LOT of kids on here complain about how doubles detract from style. thats EXACTLY what that comp was. a steeze fest. sure it was gangster steeze. but it was still a ton of style.

you look at snowboarding and the ratio is a lot more equalized.

you have the super baggy gangster dudes (Gooner, MFM, Bradshaw)

The semi "fitted" dudes, but still semi normal (Dennison is the first one that comes to mind)

Obviously super tight pants hesh dudes. And gypsys.

Normal fitting euro dudes doing octuple flips like robots.




Skiing has what?

Some euro dudes, but even their stuff is still pretty baggy.

And progressively more gangster.


A FEW tighter pants guys, but very very few. Max hill is really the only one whose even remotely "made it" big

Man this thread is getting fucking retarded. Snowboarding has zero originality seeing as they copy every aspect of skateboarding. Having "style" aka tight pants don't make up for a small bag of lame tricks. Even if that edit had Bradshaw or Magoon I'd still make fun of it for having basic tricks. Oh wait both Bradshaw and Magoon have a much larger bag of tricks.

when it comes down to it everyone just needs to keep in mind that its all about fun, if people feel the best and have the most fun for themselves in XXXXL and doorags or in jean jacket vests and tight pants, you just gotta remember your all the same out there: just people who love snowsports!

You forgot about Surface and Joystick. Hot Lunch has barely anyone in it with giant clothes. Also the Nimbus dudes don't wear baggy shit but they don't really do much park so I guess they don't count.

Snowboarding has a different mentality. If you can do a front board, anybody will give you props for it. It's not about the most technical trick it's more about the style. Now I ride with quite a few snowboarders who shred with that same mentality so maybe it's rubbed off on me. All those weird transfers and shit I find to be much more entertaining to watch than spin to win on jumps and rails.

you do have a semi point about surface. but again, handful of dudes. and dudes who i feel like get very little respect/recognition.

every HH, twall, etc edit gets pages of hype, some dude slays in tight pants and people blow it off.

Completely agree. Hot Lunch is one of the best movies that just makes me want to shred.

And agreed...People like Jordan Sheldin, Paco, Boronski, and most of the people who ride for Surface arn't really in any major movies. Bentchetler(sp) is the only dude who seems to be really popular in the main skiing scene.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Yah, agreed.

I really like the creative style of people like Garret Russel and the whole Surface crew/Hot Lunch crew. Maybe that is because it looks like they are having the most fun and that is what I like to do when I ski.

its funny how all the arguments about style and variety have to do with what size clothes we choose to wear

and its funny that most of the skiers that watched this video didnt notice how technical most of the rail tricks in this video were, and they also seemed to miss the general point of this edit. This edit was about fun not groundbreaking extreme stunts.

All the dumb haters in this thread should read the quoted post. 

snowbaording has gone beyond skiing.  snowboarding isn't full of the meathead mentality of throwing another goddamn double cork with a mute grab, and just cuz people are throwing rightside/switch doubles doesn't make them original. the only thing that comes close to this video in skiing is Traveling Circus, yet they still don't even come close to the style that is in this video.
