why not just do normal yoga? hot yoga is for middle aged women who have no other way of losing weight. I do normal yoga sometimes and it is very good, i recommend it

I had to go to a hot yoga class for my high school yoga class anyways, i thought it was terrible i know some kids who thought it was awesome.  I walked in and immediately started sweating it was about 45min long and i was sweating from head to toe.  and in my class there were no girls in sports bras and booty shorts it was full of middle aged women.  give it a try but i highly recommend you bring a towel, your own mat and a water bottle also wear very light clothing, def no sweats.  yeah give it a try and if your instructor starts talking about flexing the vagina muscle when doing a certain position try not to laugh...

I was forced to go to one, but I will say, it is much harder than I thought. I was able to get through it fine, obviously not doing everything correctly, but still trying hard though. But by the end, I was totally soaked in sweat. Seems like it would be a good way to stay in shape that is good for your body if you're not into sports. And I agree, yoga pants fucking rock.

you should definitely try it. i have a few friends at school who do it and it's a crazy work out, especially once you start past intro courses. but yeah. i have a free intro week at a moksha yoga place and i definitely want to try it out. i also heard there's naked man yoga in los angeles, lol not that you'd be interested. my friend told me her first time was a bit intense though because it's so hot in the room. but yeah. try it!

so i did this last night and i have to say it's pretty intense. you definitely feel where each pose works your body. what was kind of weird, but cool, was that you feel the heat on your arms when the room heats up and the cold air when you get to the floor. you never really rest. i think there's a half way water point, but aside from that, it's pretty much non stop. there were a few men there, but yes, mostly girls in sports bras and booty shorts.
