well i really like the run and gun of mw2 i have never played battlefield but i have wtached it and it seems really fun little slower paced and tactical

Thats what who meant? I haven't seen anyone mention MAG... I'd like to know how they compare... what are the typical game sizes in BFBC2, i heard matches are 30+ minutes... does BF use a wave deployment?

is it just me or are the graphics like EXTREMELY better on an hdtv? because I play it on a shitty (but large) tv and the graphics kinda suck

Battlefield bad company 2 is 10109322391023x better though. SO EPICC

Theres 3 online game modes. Rush, Conquest, and Squad team deathmatch.
The objective of rush is there is 2 teams, attackers and defenders. Attackers try to destroy COM stations and the defenders try to stop them. There are 2 comm stations in each defender base.  The way attackers can win is by destroying every comm station and defenders can win by disarming the charges the attackers place.


Conquest is a lot like Domination In mw2. There are flags placed in each base of the 2 teams and the teams try to capture each flag while defending theirs. First team to 100 points wins. it gets real hectic and crazy.

And squad team deathmatch is where you are put in a squad of 4 to five players. there are 4 squads and first squad to reach a certain amount of kills wins

cod starts to get boring if ur not really good so battlefield 2 is the next best option

i like battlefield better more my style of play. im a big fan of hidding and snipping. and the huge maps are awsome

Thanks, but you didn't answer any of my specific questions...

MAG has games of up to 256 players -- which last aprox. 30 minutes.

There are some vehicles players can take control of, but mainly it's APC's & Humvees, as well as stationary turrets mounted on bunkers or helicopters. Commanders can call in air strikes, uav, etc. but it's relatively limited.

There is a HUGE teamwork aspect in MAG; it's tough to win or acquire decent amounts of XP without working with your squad mates.

Graphics are mediocre, but considering the map and player population sizes, they are more than acceptable.

Can you (or anyone) compare BFBC2 to the above descriptions of MAG? I basically want to know if BFBC2 is '$60' different

I had both for awhile and BF:BC 2 while not the same huge games with pure amounts of players is a better game overall. All the maps are even and nice (SVER domination maps were a bitch to attack in MAG) and I ended up selling MAG back to a local game store.
