Every weekend when I leave my condo, I bring my skis inside and store them under my bed @~55 degrees until I come up the next weekend. My rent's get pissed and think I should just use the external ski locker, but I think bringing them inside would be better for them with regards to going through freeze/thaw cycles (usually gets to 35 during the day and 20 at night this time of year) but does it matter? Maybe it's mind over matter, idk. What do you guys do?
It's much better to bring them in, and make sure they're dried off as well.
The water can get into your core and rot it if you have any exposed core. Also the water rusts your edges. And in the off chance someone decides to steal your skis, there safer in your room than in some little locker I'm guessing?
