they're my favorite. deja is amazing yeah, but im a huge fan of everything. their new one is my least favorite but its grown on me. some of the songs are actually really good

They're one of my favorite bands.

I love Daisy, I think it's great. People are complaining about how it's different, but I think they need to just accept that Brand New reinvents themselves every album, they never sound the same in a new album. And that's one of the reasons I love them.

Brand New is my biggest guilty pleasure musically... I know its just crappy mallcore deep down, but its just so damn catchy. They lyrics make me rage sometimes though... especially Sic Transit Gloria, which is about some faggy emo kid whos too scared to have sex.

i've gone through phases where i managed to listen to only brand new for months at a time. i don't know how i did it, like even when i went out i didn't hear other music. it was...yeah. wait but if they hit it from behind, they wouldn't even know it was there haha. but yeah like i said...i was fourteen.

they are my favorite band. i started listening to them years ago when they came out with your favorite weapon. i feel like every cd has an older sound than the one before so its like i grew up with the band.

Only band from my sixth grade emo boy band phase I can listen to that doesnt make me cringe.


Also they cover Neutral Milk Hotel songs, and that makes them good in my book.

I've actually become more fond of Avery Island recently. I really like April 8th, Gardenhead, and Naomi... although Oh Comely + Two Headed Boy = way too legit.

Funny you should say that, because I've been doing the same thing. I mean I still like Aeroplane more for nostalgic and emotional reasons in addition to it, in my opinion, being the better album, but Avery Island has been growing on me. I always used to see it as the "other" Neutral Milk Hotel album, but I realize its a great stand alone piece.

they played a concert at my school with reel big fish.  reel big fish opened which was awesome. then everyone became excited for brand new.  they came out, extravagant lights and smoke effects, then proceeded to play every slower low key song they had packed in their arsenal.  so i would have to say no i dont like them.  then i found twenty bucks in my pocket and it was all good.
