when did they stop making these? back in 2000 (ish) is what getboards told me, but why did Line stop making bindings?
they look really REALLY werid, on getboards and with that plate thing? someone explain these, or POST PICS!! because i am REALLY curious about these.
Definitely seemed like i could idea, now when were they bought by K2? (does K2 even own them? i dont follow who owns who, dont really care) but if K2 does own them, why doesn't K2 re-invent that concept, because with a one binding for a 3 ski quiver would BE SO NICE!! but then again, with every company gunning to get as much sales as possible, having something as practical as this, would really do much to Line, except get REALLY good reviews and reputation.
And same here, sorry to thread jack, but something this cool, i have to get clued in.
Yeah, i can understand the weight thing and because my look PX's are probably half of all that line binding and they are HEAVY!!!! so i can undestand but then again, the marker duke is no feather either, the reason its in production its because of its unique features, but idk. Now that i think about it, if i had to choose between these and a pair of FKS, i would most likely pick the FKS. But K2 pairing with Marker was a smart idea, youre right about how its a similar concept with the snowboard style holes in the ski, keeps the ski's overall inegraty (not that it would be an issue to being with, having normal flat skis) but idk, you would think Line would want some percent in the market, but then again with how popular they are, especially on NS, i doubt they are suffering, hahha
Thanks for educating me. I always find old and different concepts really cool, because there is always so way to maybe bring it back or improve upon it.
But yeah, sorry for thread jacking.
