Hello

Whats the happiest moment you have ever had in your skiing life? Mine was skiing a trail with about 3 feet of powder, and dropping a 10, 15 and 20 foot cliff all while listening to take a minute by K'Naan

earlier this season... about the 27th of december i think.. i started skiing about three or four years ago, moved to a steamboat last year. never been very good, but last season i watch reasons with my best friend and from then on out my life has been different. i took a trip to windells. besides moving to this town, that was the other best decision of my life. i learned so much. to see the pros throwdown and to talk with them gave me the motivation to make this my best season ever. so anyways, back to the 27th... the night before that, it had snowed 17 inches... at the base. there was about 20 inches of fresh at the top with another 8-10 below it from the previous day. i decided i was going to make that day the best ever for me. i got my first face shot ever with my best friend. he then took me down my first double black ever. i felt so fucking proud of myself. I realized at that point i couldn't care less about anyone's opinion of me on the slopes. it opened my eyes to the fact that skiing is about having fun. and the second you loose track of that, its not "real skiing". from that point on, iv'e had so much fun in the park and powder just doing what i have fun doing. and thats all that matters in skiing. that was my happiest moment of skiing.

Best was probably the one time I got to ski real fresh snow at loveland when I was younger.


First face shot ever today at hunter in NY. Was going through some trees, which is something I never get to do in NJ, and hit some bank and it just blew up and I couldn't see but it was awesome. Actually, today was a damn great day. Visibility was like < 30 feet, all the trails had bumps and I had fun. Fresh snow, music, some pow even if it was heavy. Super stoked on it all.

last year, when i finally could ski after my knee injury, (it was late febuary) i stayed in a condo at a local mountain with some friends, the first night we showed up it was pretty shitty conditions, only got to ski for about 2 and a half hours, we called it a night, when we woke up though it had dumped over night, and was still doin so........so much fuckin snow, it was covering the trees and everything, we woke up about 45 minutes before 1st chair. We all wanted to go skiing as fast as possible, as we hiked with our gear up the side of the mountain throught the fresh pow, (which is rare in MI.) and the huge powder flakes falling from the sky, it was heaven. We made it to the top with a greeting of an empty hill, the chairs havent even started, we made 1st tracks and it was great, powder everywhere, even in the park. If you've ever seen the cover of the ski movie "Idea", thats what i saw looking at the chairs. I had forgot how much i missed skiing. It was a great day.

Sorry for the long read......just hard to sum up such a great time

first frontflip i ever stomped, about a month ago; never thought id have the balls to go for it but i just said fuck it and went for it. halfway through, i was sure i was gonna die so i just stayed tucked and stomped the shit out of it. i rode away thinking i had just eaten shit and when i saw my friends in front of me i was like ''whaaaaaaat?''. best feeling ever

last july i did a study abroad with some people from my school to buenos aires argentina. after two weeks there we went to the andes (bariloche specifically) to ski for a couple days. the mountain had just opened and there was basically no snow on the mountain except for the top, but it was snowing pretty hard up there. i hiked with a friend to a couple legit cliffy chutes and skied them a couple times in deep pow...just the thought brings a smile to my face

I try to make every day the best day but I'd have to say shredding with my boy in whistler this summer was up there. first 360 nose drag was sick too but probably the best overall was the day I 1st wore tight pants in the park

when i tried to do 540 tail, then it spinned to 720 STOMPED IT. first 7 ever and i was so exited, i shaked next hour :)

naturally, mine was this one day at Alta and it was dumping really hard all night and throughout the next day; it probably snowed around 2 feet. i strapped on my Seth Vicious and went swimming in powder for 8 blissful hours. every run was fresh pow and as light and fluffy as you can find anywhere. i never wanted the day to end. days like this define why i ski.

Wrecking so hard all week at camp last summer on the rails (missed a day because I destroyed my shoulder and hip on the first rail of my day 5), failing to make my summer setup work, then on Christmas, building a jump up to my rail and just trying and trying again until I finally got it...it was probably my best Christmas ever.  Check out my picture on my profile, that was from that day.

Hope on the slopes last year at stevens pass. Constant faceshots for 36 hours straight. but in all honesty ive never had a bad day skiing just getting the chance to be up at the mountain is good enough for me

So I think about this all the time: We should step back and remember to soak in every minute we have at this time, because during the summer we'll be like "damn i wish it was February 28 so I could go skiing" So stop and cherish every minute you can, because before you know it, winter will be over, and we'll be wishing we could go back to this time.

Oh my goodness gracious. I skied main chute like 4 weeks ago but it wasnt NEARLY as good. How did you get up to the main chute before EVERYONE. Are you a Alta Local or Patrol? Like holy fuck it woudl be my dream to ski main chute or little chute fresh pow.

yesterday was the funnest day of skiing I have ever had. ski bc pow in the morning, then built a little kicker in the bc in the afternoon, the weather was perfect and slightly warm and and then sesh'd it until the hill closed. went night skiing after and just lapped the park, landing a few new tricks so I was stoked!
