im thinking of starting this year too
im 120 lbs. and 5'8.
their boards are so sick, great quality and really cool people running the company
landyachtz makes awesome boards i love them.
in terms of what would be a good longboard, it depends on what you want to do. For instance if you just want to cruise/ carve and chill you'll get a completel different board from what you would get if you were going to be racing. go to the landyachtz website, it's set up really well.
loaded boards are the absolute best.
i bought a sector 9 carbon trylam. its pretty much a downhill board. i put bones swiss bearings on it and the whole package cost me no more than 150. loaded boards your talking $$$$$$$$$$$.
sector nine are great for beginners + they are high quality
never summer or loaded
i have a never summer swift and i love it its just perfect for bombing big hills but just flexible enough to cruise the urban area and have fun and loadeds are fun to my buddy has a loaded
gravity is also a solid company
it all really depends on what you want to do with it and how u wana ride>?
let me know if u want any more input
