09/10 Suspects Broken Already!

Buddy of mine just blew out the edge on his Suspect completely. Salomon said they would warranty it at least, but really? Only about 8 days on them...

Everybody said to don't buy some suspect because they didn't change their skis. they are the same shitty skis than last year..

So why did you bought them??? for the graphic?

ive had them for a month... 15 ski days. my top sheet is completely gone on the inside edges of both skis. and my right inside edge came apart from the ski. im pretty pissed

they are actually diffrent from last year, alll the suspects that broke last year were in the early manufacturing process and had troubles. also this years have a diffrent flex pattern and are constructed diff.

face it, skis break. its all depending on how you handle them.

i've used my suspects(which i got in january) for pretty much anything untill now, and they held up pretty good. i guess i haven't crashed to hard with them, but i've taken some hits, so has the skis.

Since Salomon is a international company, many people trust Salomon as a company and they have a factory team stacked with pros. Which leads to many people buying their skis so there is more confirmed cases of broken Salomon skis than there is on broken Moments.

how do they break that way? its not salomons fault they snapped... look at the way they snapped, either he purposely did it or did something no freestyle ski is meant to do

if your going to post a pic of broken suspects that your friend says he broke. make sure its a legit break and not something he did. dont try and turn them away from salomons just cuz he fucked around and snapped them the opposite way they would snap if he was skiing when they broke ^^^^^^^^^

i have probably somewhere around 60 days on my 08/09 suspects over the last two seasons and they're still fine. really fun skis and they're holding up great. just saying...

I wasn't trying to turn people away from salomon... and he snapped them the normal way then bent them the opposite way. He did'nt snap them upside down. Chill

My friend isn't even that hard on his skis and his 2010 suspects already have about 5 cracks in the edge on one ski.  I have about 60 days on my chronics with no cracks or edge tear out and I clearly put them through more abuse in those 60 days than he has in about 10 days.  Not good Salomon.  I would expect better after last year.

On the side note...: My friend has suspects, he's pretty hardcore skiier.

Urban, airsite, etc.

And he's had his suspects for 2 years. Just normal wear and tear on it, but nothing like that..

to bad he got the coreupt tj pros. and he had them for a year and like a month this year. and he said that they were about to break hense the new skis. he said they were about to break cuz of water ramps.

amen, my suspects from last year are holding up fine, stop the hate. if you think there's something really wrong with the suspect, stop buying it. Then salomon will realize their doing something wrong and make changes.

hey um i got sum 2010 suspects and i know they are not very durable... is there any way to improve their durability... when they chip i have been filling them with an epoxy... anything else i can do?
