i just built a rail and the top sheet is stainless steel. When i tried to ski on it, i stuck like crazy. Anyone know why? Thanks
Probably because the metal isn't smooth enough or it needs to be waxed, or it could just be that the metal you're using sucks.
first i'd try waxing it generously. otherwise, you're probably gonna want to check out the quality of the metal you're using, just like ^ said
I like to ski.
i know the quality isnt the problem because i bought it from a machine shop that builds washers for toxic waste bins, but ill try smoothing it and waxing it. Thanks
I have never seen stainless used for rails. Its pretty damn expensive. How much did that cost you?
