Some reassurance needed
Alright, so I like most of newschoolers, would like to get a video camera. I've searchbarred and done some research and I've decided to get a canon hf s100. My mom leaves for nyc tomorrow so when she is there she can go to b and h and buy it for me for a much cheaper price than in Canada. But now that i'm close to buying it i'm second guessing my choice. I'm just wondering if i should spend the extra couple hundred on the hf s10 or the hf s11. I'll be filming skiing, longboarding, short movies in film class and other random stuff.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I would say ya, go for it. Sure someone will say get HV30... but then import is a bitch blah, blah, blah... Its a SD card which is way better then a HDD. The camera has a lot of controls/customs settings on it. Again, I would say go for it.
Canon 5D MkII
"this has a tilting 12" hd lcd with built in dolby 5:1 surround as well as a red velvet collapsable chair that folds into the battery grip and a small asian who lives behind the sensor and makes you popcorn. it's the same asian who cleans the sensors on all of canon's sensor cleaning bodies so it's not that revolutionary"
