for 200 bucks your options are going to be very limited. I'd recommend just going on craigslist and buying a simple MiniDV camera. They're all about the same at that price, but if you can find one, I really like canon's Elura lineup, such as the Elura100. They are really nice cheap cameras. Otherwise, just stick to Canon, Sony, or Panasonic. Avoid JVC cameras, Hard drive cameras, or cams that record straight to DVD. This isn't to say that there aren't nice hard drive or JVC cameras out there, but in your price range, stick to cameras that use Mini DV tapes, made by the brands i just mentioned.
