Ive search barred for a while and i cant seem to find a thread about mounting the Rossignol s4's. What are the sidecut deimensions and suggested mounting points? For riding info, I ride about 80-90% park whenever im on the hill and compete in slopestlye, big air and rail jams, BUT i also compete in freeride comps. I don't do any pipe comps but i do ski the pipe for fun.
I've got ghettos which I think became the S4, they got a redesign but whatever. I had them mounted at -4 and just remounted them at true center today, I'm going skiing tomorrow so after I'll try to give a comparison on the two points.
Hey just got back. I'd mount them at center for sure. You can tell a little bit of a positive difference when you are hitting a rail or doing a revert or something, but when you are just mashing there isn't enough of a negative difference to even notice. The only negative thing about it is that they feel really short, but yeah it didn't bother me at all when I was skiing, just when I looked down at them they looked short. I'm real happy with center mount, if I were you doing 80-90% park I would either go center or like -1, -2.
Im also surprised what a difference 4cm made I thought I wasn't going to be able to tell the difference but when you clip in its pretty dramatic.
