Why does everyone want a pair of these poles? Do they not bend or break ever? Are they made of something special like Leki poles or some shit?

I mean they look cool, and they aren't made in China. But really, $60? What makes them cost that much? The green and orange color scheme?

You're honestly a fuckin idiot. Scott poles are dope and ever since they started doing cool ones (like 2-3 years ago) alotta people want them. Stop giving shit to the kid because he wants poles that he most likely would have taken even if wallisch wasn't on their team. Those poles are dope no need to be a douche bag.

ive broken my share of scott poles, theres nothing special about them at all.
im just making an assumption it might have to do a little something with a pro using them. if im wrong, im very sorry to have upset you.

they are actually super durable. I used to break poles like crazy, i snagged a pair of scott race series poles from like 6 years ago, they were in the attic of my shop, and missing a basket so my boss said i could have them. They are virtually the same as the scott team issue pole, just different graphic and straps. Now the reason they dont bend or break as easy as other poles is because of the type of aluminum they use, they use high grade aluminum which they call series 4 aluminum. The poles are really light, and super strong, like u cant bend them at all. Oh and the grips are pretty comfy too. So thats why alot of ppl want these poles.

Not necesseraly directed at you but people gotta stop being assholes when someone asks for the name of a product he saw on a pro. Get over it pros are made to advertise products there's nothing wrong with that. You know what I mean?

Except that your post was directed to me, so don't pretend like it wasn't. And the kid asked "where can i get them?", which would not be hard at all to figure out on your own. And yes I may have been exaggerating in my post, but you aren't disagreeing with me either the fact that "pros" are the main trendsetters among the demographic this website caters to. I wasn't being mean, just stating an assumption that has proven itself true season after season.

Obviously I was talking to you haha but it was still adressed to everyone else who does that. And yes pros are trendsetters for many reasons, but what's wrong? If someone wants to look like Wallisch and that'll make him stoked on skiing then I don't see how anyone has the right to hate on that. And come on your post wasn't meant to be nice.

kids were paying $120 for them last season. Yeah they are sweet, and light, but poles dont really do anything for me. Almost all poles are the same, and besides that you can nab some neon green scott poles at goodwill for $5

Yet another great thread.  I like Scott poles.  Mine are black ones.  They are from a rental shop.  I bent one of them a little and now it looks like a racing pole.  It bent because I fell on it.  Yay! for surprise cliffs.
