I have one.  Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to go down an actual mountain with powder or hit huge jumps.  It is so much fun.  A couple years ago on the last day after the lifts closed I brought it into the park and hit like a 15 foot table.  no spins because it is soooo hard to steer it on hard pack.  I guess somewhere near camels hump there is a snow park for only these.  I really want to go.  It's not a park liek jumps and rails, just a forest with some trails and stuff.

ok first of all i have one of these and it is one of the most fun things ever besides skiing haha. they dont hurt your knees because there are pads and this sport has so far to progress so inventing new tricks is so much fun. This is a group of people sponsered by mad river rocket, skullcandy, and protec for sledding here is a video that will appeal to more new schoolers due to the rails and more urban. They do hit handrails as well and last year tom mull hit a 22 stair double kinked rail.

somone posted a sick pow video on here a long time ago. it was soo legit. there pretty fun for cruzing and pow. i have one and have ridden from the top of my small ski hill by my house with it. u coudl even take them onthe lift. thye have straps and a leash.

i broke mine first day tho because of stupid plastic screws. so i got mettal ones after. if anyone wants to buy a sled its up for grabs. pm me

yeah a bunch of my friends have these they are really fun to just tool around on i havnt had much experience with um but my friend has done a couple cliffs and stuff and says its a good time to be had but my mountain doesnt let you on the lift with them

i have one of those

i used to rip on it but then got cut and have scar tissue all the way from the outside of my skin down to my shin bone so i can't kneel anymore without it hurting like a bitch so goodbye to kneeboarding and using my knee sled, fucking sucks

i DEFINITELY thought this was about a snowmobile lol.  but that's kinda cool it's like kneeboarding on snow.  i think im going to drive up a logging road this year and kneeboard down, see how it works.

Ok, first off, what don't you all understand?  It in no way hurts your knees.  There is like a 4 inch pad on there.  Does knee boarding hurt your knees? No.  Unless you have bad knees, which I do, or really bad knees, there is no problem.

Second, why is everyone saying get skis?  This has nothing to do with sledding instead of skiing.  how many of you enjoy to go sledding?  I know I do.  Would you rather go sledding on a shit sled or one of these?  This is not a question of skiing vs. sledding.

I figured they were on their knees because it was easier to pray that they didn't look like a bunch of douches.  LOL, just kidding.  Kind of looks like fun, but so is telemarking.  Don't have extra time or money for that either.  I'll stick to skis.

I used to have one. It was fun to shred on the mountain after the lifts closed and at night. I only had it for a few months when the knee strap broke after I smashed into a tree, never got around to fixing it.
