Ok so the tip on one of my rossi's skis is sorta coming apart from hitting it against a wall in a hotel room in Utah. I really want to fix it because the skis are only a season old. What brand and type of epoxy will help these skis last as long as possible. Thanks
you want to use a 24 hour epoxy with some flexibility, a few rivets would help as well.
any specific, quality brands or anything thatll work really well?
i've always had access to khuu epoxy, but i'm sure something from the hardware store will work, best thing is epoxy to keep water out and rivets to really hold it together, oh yeah and clamp it for 24 hrs, i like to slowley heat the epoxy once ive clamped it and tap the ski to get the air/bubbles out.
what should i heat it with?
small propane torch works well
hmmmm i dont have on of those. all i have is a clamp haha.
maybe goto the local shop?
just so steezy...
i'd say heat gun, if you only have a clamp you prolly should go to a shop with a riveter
water proof epoxy and some rivets and it will be good to go.
I don't wanna talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper! I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!
