Can I Bend the Brake Arms to Make Bindings Fit my Ski?

Hey I'm hoping someone can help me out.  I just got some 4FRNT MSP 171 skis and some Look PX 12 Lifter Bindings and the bindings aren't fitting over the skis.  The width of the ski is 87 and the brake arm width is 80.  Should I return to the bindings (bought them online) or should I try and bend the arms to fit?  I'm not really sure what the best approach would be.  I could exchange them for the "wide" version, but the brake width on those is 100.  I'm not sure if that would be too wide.  Any ski techs out there have any advice.  Thanks

1. You can most definately bend those brakes, its only 7mm.

When they mount em, they will bend em for you.

your shop may or may not bend them based off their own policies. If not, you can easily bend them at your house.

for sure.. thanks for the help.  i guess i'll wait till i take em to the shop to get mounted and see what they can do.
