sorry to kill your dreams little man, but you get out of medical school at 28 with over 1 million dollars in loans to pay off, so you will be doing nothing but paying off loans till you're 35...also as an engineer, you can make that much money but only in managment, which means you need a masters plus your P.E. which adds on a minimum 5 years, not counting time it takes to move up through the ranks to high level managment. 

To make a quarter mil a year, you need to be a doctor, or VERY VERY good at what you do and a little lucky. 

however, doing both those jobs, you will eventually be able to make that much, just not as early as we all would like.
