Filling in holes from bindings

just got some used scratch FSs and was wondering what i should fill in the holes from the old bindings with? I have some sticks of P-tex, will melting them in the holes work?

also on a side note, I was planning on mounting them dead center? scratches don't ski shitty centermounted do they? they'll be mostly for rails anyway

are mounting them yourself? if you arent they will fill the holes when you take em in to get mounted.
center would be fine, id mount the -2 from cent though, just because they will turn better and carve better. it shouldnt be too noticeable though.

take it to the store, they will plug up the hole and put some epoxy in it. if you screw it up, water can get into the wood part of your ski and rot it and it will ruin the ski

alrighty just figured i'd ask, cause our local shop is kinda a gaper shop and i figured they'd charge me extra for filling in the holes, and maybe i could just do it my self. but i'll let them do it.

new problem...i just put my boot on the center mark and realized the holes might be too close to do a center mount, so I may end up having to move back a couple cms anyway.

you could fill them with some epoxy, its not very expensive.

take to shop if you dont fill them in and water gets in they will destroy your planks

just go to your shop and ask the ski tech to give you some plugs to fill the holes. they'll give you these little circular plastic plugs that you can just hammer right into the holes.

i wouldnt mount these center. they are not designed to be mounted this way and the sidecut will be fucked if you do this.
