If you were 100% park 176s would work, but for anything but park 181s will be much better. Oh, and Tyrolia Peak/mojo 15/Head Mojo 15/Fischer 18/4frnt deadbolt 18/amplid 15 are the best on the market. Best edge to edge, no pre releases(if din is high enough) and releases when they should. I have owned Marker Royal series and M series, Salomon S series, STH series, tyrolia Peak series and FFseries, FKS 155s, and Look px series. I only buy Tyrolias now(Peaks, IMO they are just perfect...5lbs/pair, safe, no pre releases, best edge to edge feeling) but if I could't get Tyrolias, then I would be getting Solly S914s/S912s/914 Labs/STh 16s. Those are the only Sollys you should get(other than limited stuff like STH 14 DRIVER(NOT normal STH 14). I have Peak 18s on my 181 PCs right now which are 5.6lbs/pair, and the PCs still spin easy. I am moving the 18s to the LL2s and throwing my Peak 15s on the PCs, though.
So: 181 PCs mounted 2.5 back(No farther forward, for any non-park skiing farther forward just hurts performance, and even in park center mounting skis like PCs is stupid. you could do 3.5 back if you want and still be fine switch. I skied my Coombas mounted about 11 back switch down steep groomers all the time for fun..)with Peak 15s=Win. If you won't do that, then google shopping search salomon 914 lab, and I think they are still about 150 on some site there. PM me with questions
